Happy Memorial Weekend!
One thing can always be said of Will and that is that he always left a lasting impression on anyone. Whether it be that fact that you had to look up to see his face :) or one of those times that he used his charming smile and big eyes on us, whichever it was he always seemed to stand out. As everyone knows, through life we all have our ups and downs. Will had his fair share, but no matter what he was up against he always tried to find a way to make it for himself and Leah. He always tried to bring a smile to her face and always be there for her. He was not only a father to her, but he was also a best friend to her. Looking at Leah now, reminds me so much of looking at Will. They both seem to do whatever it takes to bring a smile to your face. Leah was definetely his pride and joy and she meant the world to him. My most cherished memories are and will remain to be the one's of Will, Leah and I all at our lake house spending time togther, from cleaning up the place to barbequing on the porch, it was a time in our lives of happiness. I will always remember his smiling face and each time that I look at Leah it brings everything about him back. We will always love him and hold on to our cherished memories of William Wayne Barton. With each new day, I take a step back and sigh.......then I glance up and smile because I know that somewhere Will is up there looking down and smiling back.

16 years agoI believe this was taken the summer he graduated from High School in 98, He had a huge keg party at Dad's lake house. I remember seeing tail lights lined up around the cove leaving the house.
