Dear Shaun,
You were my brother for a time that was far too short. I fondly remember playing co-op xbox games together - strategising and laughing as we beat the game with teamwork. Though I wish we could have been brothers in this world for longer, that would be selfish of me as I know you are at peace now and in peace you will stay.

Shaun Whitfield was a caring soul. He always put others before himself and lived his life accordingly. He was Brave , funny , honourable and highly intelligent and often helped me deal with the hardships of life. I believe he died knowing he was loved by all his family and friends and he will live on in us. I know I will see him again someday but he will be deeply missed by all.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news about Shaun. My memories of Shaun are from our high school days at St Pats where we shared plenty of laughs. My thoughts are with his family.
