First, I just want to say that it saddens me to read that not too many people even remember Selena the wonderful person that she was. They only got to know her from her movie that Jennifer Lopez played in. I remember when her first album came out. She had just made her cross over from Tejano musica to English pop. I was 21yrs old when she passed away. When she came into town for her concert I missed it to give birth to my baby. She died 1 month later. I really wish that if people are gonna mourn her then they should be doing it for the right reasons. NOT because of a movie.

i was very young when selena passed away. i didnt know who selena was till i saw the movie "selena" with watching that movie i then released how much this young woman meant to everyone. she truly is an angel.. she will always remain alive in our hearts and through her music..i do miss her..selena haas become my motavation and inspiration in life.. and now she is with god. i know that she is watching over us, and wants us to remember her through her music..i wish i did have the chance to meet her..she remains in my heart..selena will always be 23 in my eyes a beautiful young woman..selena siempre amamos y te extranamos..<3

just found this site and wanted to note want a talented person selena was. i remember when i fisrt saw the film and it made me cry. it was awful that such a young taleneted person was taken away. i stil cry everytime i watch the film 10 years on. thoughts are with the family at this time of year.

Without doubt she would of become the biggest star entertainment has ever seen.There isn't anyone out there like her. Her smile was simply contagious. The whole world would of fallen in love with this Queen of beauty and talent. The world was robbed when she was taken away. Ppl you see today are boxed and packaged anyway you want them. 99% have no talent and it has to be done in a studio. Selena could sing anything. She had the best live voice ever. i have been a fan of selena since i was younger, i am 18 years old now, i am so heart- broken to know that selena is no longer here. she was so great and i am going to miss her alot. i can not believe i am saying this but i wish the person who took selena away from me will pay for killing her. she did not deserve to go at all, she was to young to leave . i know all of her fans will still be crying, cause i am right know from my heart. i did not want to say goodbye but i guess i had to. rest in peace selena. i will always remeber my mexican-americann friend.
