Vincenza, Maria, Anna and family
Your papa was a fine fellow and a gentleman, always happy to share gardening tips and a smile. I loved strolling through his food garden, a true Italian classic.
My thoughts are with you and your family.
Roberta

I have memories of our childhood in S. Giovanni a very poor village especially during the world depression of the thirties. None of us had any shoes or toys but as little children Roberto and I played with other children and made our own games and fun. Then in 1936 my family and I migrated to Australia but it wasn't until after the war that Roberto migrated to Australia and I was so pleased then he met and married my cousin Antonietta and that created a new bond as he now was part of the family.
Roberto and Antonietta started farming growing flowers for the city markets they worked very hard to achieve a better future for themselves and their two beautiful children. Roberto idolized his family and with his gentle nature he was a man who was respected by all who new him he was a man with all the integrity kindness and respect for others. He will be missed.
