I met Prof and Avis in 2005 in Sydney while i was a student at Macquarie University and had a beautiful relationship with them. They were more like my parents and i visited them quite often. I came back home in 2007 and kind of lost touch with them along the way. I was shocked when i googled Prof and saw this tribute. I am really saddened by his passing. i hope Avis is doing fine though. My deepest sympathy goes out to Rod's devoted wite Avis and his loving children. I met Avisi and Rod in London over 2 decades ago and was struck by the depth of their attachment to one another. I have cherished their friendship and although it is nearly a year since we lost Rod , fond memories remain. The man was a genius. I know nothing about psychometrics, but I do know something about poetry and Rod had more poetry committed to memory than anyone I have ever known. His passing is a great loss, but it was a privilege to know him.
