Dear Pat I hope you are at peace. You are missed and I am thinking of you................

Pat you were an amazingly energetic and passionate friend. You started out as a flatmate and became a truly loved friend. Life was never boring with you that's for sure! I remember being woken up at 2am one morning by what I thought was the party next door..only to find it was in our house! Pat had invited some people over & was very warm and inviting when I appeared at the lounge room door, blinking. I just had to join in!
Pat you introduced me to so many people at a time in my life when I felt very alone. Meeting you changed my life and I'm forever grateful to you. I told you that too, and I'm glad.
So many memories Pat, even just simple ones like watching TV together, or tip-toeing through the house cos you were asleep on the couch. You had such energy and lived so intensely that when I saw you resting I was glad and didn't want to disturb you. Your dances and clever, funny thoughts, your angst and worries and the confidences we shared made me love you, as a brother and a friend. You said I was like your sister, and that's how it felt.
I remember when I first moved in you said you wanted to learn to cook. 6 months later I said "you don't really wanna learn to cook do you Patty?" You replied "Nah" and we both laughed. I said someone was looking after you cos you seemed to always come out on top of things. I think you are still looked after, just not in this world anymore. God Bless, beautiful crazy diamond. Max

I had the pleasure of working with Patrick at Gourmet Dinner Service up until February and I moved on.
Pat's enthusiasm and humor brightened my days.
If some one was to ask me how to describe the perfect Aussie male, I would tell them to go see Pat. Sporty, proud, competitive, thoughtful, genuine and just a great bloke, everyone agreed.
He would freely tell me of the love for his family, He shared precious stories with me about living with his beloved Gran and stories of the joy that nieces and nephews bought to his life. Pat loved spending last Christmas with his family.
Pat and I would joke about owning a holiday home, even if it was by the ocean it would be called "Green River" after a favorite Credence song.
My darling Pat, I know in my heart you have found your "Green River".
Thank you for sharing your light with so many you will always be in our hearts.

My sincere condolences. I went to St Aloysius with Patrick, and played rugby with him. I’ve only seen Patrick a few times since we graduated, with the last time some years ago at Manly, over a beer. I’ll always remember Patrick as a happy-go-lucky bloke, and a real character. May he rest in peace, and my prayers are with his family and loved ones, during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
