God made us family We need one another We love one another We forgive one another We work together We play together We worship together Together we use God's word Together we grow in Christ Together we love all men Together we serve our God Together we hope for heaven These are our hopes and ideals. Help us to obtain them, O God, Through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude to all of you. Your prayers, words of consolation, flowers, and many acts, both seen and unseen have sustained us. Mother joined First Baptist Church Piney Grove in 1971, under the leadership of Pastor C.V. Ford. It was here, that mother, Angela, Jim Jr., Lisa and myself were baptized and taught the precious word of God. We all sung in the choir, my brother joined the cub scouts mother was a cub leader. Lisa and I were brownies.

With all of mother's unconditional love and support, she encouraged all of us to be all that we could be, as we prepared ourselves for our futures. As many knew, mother was an exceptional conversationalist leaving no subject untouched. It was through this gift of gab, that she touched many lives. Mother will always be remembered for her genuine caring spirit for those who were in and around her life, and her inquisitiveness.
