I am a colleague of Mervyn and Mitu from his early days as a journalist in New Delhi. I am shattered to learn of his passing. We were in touch sporadically. His broken marriage seemed to have killed his spirit. My memories of Mervyn and Mitu will remain as two youngsters head over heels in love. Mervyn, deep down, was an honest and simple individual. I am an ex-IT journalist and I remember meeting Mervyn many times in the late 1990s/early 2000s with me in the journalist role and himself in a PR role. I remember him as a very warm and funny man who I would enjoy meeting with and I am saddened to hear of his passing. -- Rob Irwin
