I am in complete shock that Mark would do this. Depression is such a terrible disease but suicide is such a selfish act. My heart goes out to his family

When I first met Mark last year, I was immediately drawn to his warmth and emotion, but also realised his desperate depression. I am in absolute shock and disbelief he is gone. My complete compassion goes out to his family and friends. Rest in Peace beautiful soul.x

All Saints is my favourite tv show, been watching it since it started. Mark was one of my favourite characters, and will be sadley missed !!!. Mark, you poor soul. You must have been desperate to do this. You obviously didn't klnow how loved and popular you were. I know you would have been feeling like no one would care or miss you but you were wrong. I have depression and have been down that road several times and probably will again, but I have never had the guts to take my own life, call it brave or weak I don't know. All I know is you are happy now and will never be forgotten. you had looks, personality and talent and so many people will grieve for you. Rest In Eternal Peace. Kristy

To Mark's family and friends, It was such a shock to hear of Mark's death.. I hope that if anything positive can come from this it is that it makes people more aware that depression is an illness and that sufferers need support and love- not judgement and that it is ok to reach out for help if you are finding life's journey difficult. I can't believe this happened. I was in tears when I heard the announcement on the radio. Mark is a great actor on All Saints and I'll never forget him. RIP Mark. :(

As a regular watcher of All Saints I have always admired Mark (Nurse Dan) as an actor and I just can't believe that I won't be seeing that handsome face gracing our TV for much longer. I was devastated to read this morning of Mark's suicide, his character, Dan, was one of my favs on All Saints, the show won't be the same without him, so sad that he was in such a dark place that he felt this was his only option, my heartfelt sympathies go out to his family and friends, a wonderful gone too soon

I am so very sadden another young man has left due to suicide, how pinful for his family and friends. Hes not at rest. I have a son who died simaler cirumstances, four years ago today Just wish theses young men were not so shy in speaking out in their feelings. I am really saddened by the news of Mark's passing. I am sure all his friends and family would be too. We all know depression is very real in our world, and it certainly dosen't discriminate. I have been down the same road, and have sought help, which is so important. It won't bring Mark back, but can help to serve as a real reminder, how much we need to look out for each other. I'm sure Mark's friends had tried, it's just so tragic that Mark himself, couldn't see enough positive in this crazy world. RIP Mark, i too will miss you. Maz

I just can't that Mark Priestly wont be in our lounge rooms every Tuesday night. My love, thoughts and sympathy go to his family and especially the All Saints crew. Joelene, my sympathy goes to you as i know you must have been so close, the rapport you two had shone through in your acting.
