It was our great pleasure and privilege to have met and know Len over more than fifteen years. Len was a true gentleman and a wonderful mentor and friend to our daughter Fiona with whom he was always prepared to share his extensive equine knowledge. We will always remember his wonderful generosity to our family. Rest in peace, Len. Joan and Michael Hogan xxxxxx

The last time that Len visited the farm down here, he left me a poem. "i would rather have one little rose from the garden of a friend than to have the choicest flowers when my stay in earth must end I would rather have the kindest words while yet I hear andd see than flattered when my head is still and this life has ceased to be I would rather havea loving smile from friends I know are true than tears shed round my casket when this world I've bid adieu Bring me all the flowers today wether pink, or white or red I'd rather have one blossom now than a cartload when I am dead." In true Len style it was letting those around you know how precious they are while they are still here. A gentleman who will be truly missed - but we were so very blessed to have you in our lives. Find peace and your light will shine on forever xxxxxxxx All our love, today and forever Fiona, Glen, Rachel and Mia Baxter
