I am grateful for Johnnie and the years he spent working with me at the piano. He introduced me to Rodger Willams, who I later had the honor of meeting years later. He heard some of my orchestra arrangements and was very kind. I owe much of my abilities at the piano to Johnnie and am forever grateful for his kindness, friendship, and taking an interest in me.
