Joan was always full on fun you could always know there would be laughter when she was about. When I told one of my good friends that Joan had passed away, she remembered years ago we called my Mum and Joan, "Thelma & Louise" as they had been on holidays together. At lunch last week we only talked about Joan paying for her Grand-daughters to attend June Daly- Watkins courses to help make them "ladies".
