I met Janet when I started work in Juvenile Justice in 1993. Janet was the only psychologist working between the two centres and she managed to be available to all the young men in those centres. She was amazing. It was my first position as an intern psychologist and she had a lot more experience. She mentored me through the first year and was fantastic support. We became friends and I got to know Janet the person - wife, mother, woman. She loved her husband and all her children dearly. She was very fond of coffee, cigarettes and whisky, and had a passion for shoes (I looked for an icon for shoes and there wasn't one unfortunately. Goodbye my dear friend. with love your friend, Harry
