Not a day goes by without thinking of Dad - Almost a year has gone since Dad's passing - Life for sure is too short, & for Dad, unbeknown to him (& other tradesmen of his era) he was exposted to the killer asbestos which affected Dad's later years, & eventually was Dad's fate. Dad will always be remembered as a bloke everyone thought fond of, & to his family & all that knew him, Dad was a proud family man, an avid sportsman, coach, community volunteer, & had a fantastic sense of humour. God Bless Dad - You'll be In our hearts & memories always.

My Dad Don always had a great sense of humour. I feel very lucky to have spent time with Dad and take him Kit-Kats for a treat at Palmgrove and a Pie and Coke on a day out to the beach. Dad would take me to the beach almost everyday as a kid/teenager. Some of my earliest memories are of Sth Curly learning to swim and Nth Curly Nippers with my Dad. Thanks Dad, I love and miss you.

We lived quite a comfortable lifestyle .59Yrs., is a long time to know & love someone special, to share your life with..not knowing what lies ahead....for better or worse,in good health or bad...that's life, then when it's over, well you will never see them on this earth again,,,SO have FAITH!!..To be continued!!

I have too many memories to write and a lot more are coming back as I scan all our photos for the slide show. Dad was very proud of all of us. He could tell a good yarn and a great joke. He was intelligent and if he didn't know something he would make it up and everyone would believe him because he was so convincing. We will all miss him.
