My childhood memories of spending time at the Bennetts are still very vivid some 5 decades later. Mowing Bob's lawn, trying not to bump the beehives, watching Bob weild the axe at the designated chook, smoking the beehives to retrieve the honey and most of all waiting for Bob to fly over at low level in a Bristol freighter, dipping a wing as he passed overhead. Many years later he let me sit up front on a late night 727 flight from Adelaide to Perth.
My deepest sympathy to all Bob's family. Geoff Macalister
