Been to Healsville long ago but remember it as beautiful, my daughter went to Marysville last year for her birthday, she has some wonderful memories and photos of her time there. Our hearts and most of all our prayers are with all the families who have lost loved ones as well as everything else they had. God is with you, He will give you strength you never knew existed. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding(Scripture). Remember all of Gods Promises(hence the rainbow) are yes and amen. Colin and Marie Jones Victoria

Remember, you are a great nation of people whom will overcome. Sending much love from the UK, so remember ....advance Australia fair!!!

I have been to Australia 5 times and have been there during one of your bush fires and I was terrified then so I cannot even dream what you must have felt this time. I have relatives in Melbourne so I do keep in touch and have been extremely concerned for them as with all those afftected. I hope you find the strength to rebuild your lives and look forward to the future. with love and very best wishes Jenni & Bob (UK) God Bless you all

There are no words that can adequately express the pain and suffering that these fires have brought about. To those who have been personally affected, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Even those of us who have not been personally affected, suffer with you. This is something that affects all Australians wherever we are. There is an ache in our hearts for our country. We will rise again with the courage and strength on which this country was founded. In the days ahead, may we not forget to continue to hold out our hand in practical ways as well as with sympathy to those who have suffered and will continue to suffer for many days ahead. Thinking of those who so thoughtlessly and with cruelty started fires, we can only regard them with a sense of horror that they even thought of starting a fire at a time of imminent danger. Any sentence imposed by the law can be little compared to having to live with the memory of what they have done.

My dad was a volunteer fire fighter for 25 years in Alstonville NSW. I know the fear of every time the fire bells went and praying dad would come home okay. I can only imagine how these people felt - the decisions some people - parents - had to make. This is not only not fair, it is not right. All of my family's prayers and all of God's strength be with you all - and Karma will happen. It has to. Somebody has to stand up and say what we all think - and that is that the bas---ds, should be given what they gave out. Be Aussie and Be Strong cause we are all here to back up our "Mates". xx

My dad was a volunteer firefighter in Alstonville NSW for 25 years. I know how scared I was every time our fire bells went and he had to go. I heard and lived the awful stories of things that had happened through my dad. I can only imagine what these people had to go through. Being a parent and knowing of what choices had to be made by some very brave people,--- makes my heart break. I do not know how these people are stil going on. ALL THE STRENGTH IN THE WORLD AND ALL THE PRAYERS FROM ABOVE BE WITH YOU ALL. True Aussie Guts and Spirit - hang in there. xx karma will come.

To all those who have lost their loved ones, homes, livelihoods and property my heartfelt sympathy. I cannot believe that some callous individuals have reaped such destruction on this beautiful country, its people, its wildlife and its heritage. I will, however continue to send my best wishes to all those who are rebuilding their lives, in the weeks and months ahead.

To all the people in the bushfire areas , I cry with you but can't imagine what you are going through , I can only send you my prayers and help but that will never give you back what you have lost and nothing will ever take away your memories or your fear of what will happen next. I hope the person responsible gets caught . But that is not going to bring anyone or anything back to you.We are a strong nation and we have strength in our bodies and minds, please continue to grow strong every day and hope you all recover to the best of your abilities..I'am so sorry this has happened to you all. I am sure all Australians will stand side by side with our survivors, we are in this for the long haul. I believe Australians have changed from this, we all faced our own mortality aftet this tragedy it was more like a war than a fire and we are changed, that is how deeply this has gone to the heart of Australia. To the survivors, we walk beside you, we will be there every step of the way, we never give up, we never give in and we never quit. God Bless

Sending thoughts and prayers out to those who have been lost and have lost in these horrendous fires. Also to those fighting them and taking time out to help everyone and try to get some sanity back into what this disaster has created. I'm also praying for the animals and those who make it their life's work to protect them. There just aren't any words for this. I hope the people who did this are punished to the fullest extent, but I know that can't give anyone their house, animals or loved ones back. Just want everyone to be safe. Be well... CJG.

I cry every time I see the tv reports, I feel so helpless and try to think of other ways to help. To every man, woman and child affected in the Victorian Bushfires, my prayers are only for you in this very sad time. It will take time but everything will heal as all of Australia is behind you. Our country mourns the loss of so many innocent lives and the loss to their families. Australians will never forget the tragic loss to our country that has happened so early this year. It has always been an honour to be Australian. To live the Australian way of life. But the pride I feel, about the way, all of the people who live in this fortunate land, have joined together, rich or poor, person/family or company, to help the survivors of this disaster, has filled me with a pride that will not be easily erased. It seems to be the volunteers and generosity of Australians that has always been there to protect the rest of us in our times of need. The weariness of the people who have had to live through this is something that won't be resolved with a few nights sleep on a real bed. Lives have been changed, completely and forever. This devastating event, has wiped complete communities off the face of the earth. There are no roads to speak of. The power lines have all been burnt down. There are no shops. schools, doctors offices, no homes, no anything. No one has been left untouched. The survivors of this unnatural disaster have the support, thoughts, prayers and goodwill donations from all of the people of Australia and the world.

I can not believe what has happened. My heart breaks when I think of the people who have lost their lives in these fires. I hope justice will come to the people responsible for this, I hope the people responsible never forget the innocent lives they have taken away. So many people are suffering just so some low life wastes of oxygen can have a thrill why the hell would more people be trying to light more fires after this. There isnt a person i know who hasnt in some way been affected by these fires. people have lost there children their families their homes and pets..anyone who gets a thrill out of this does not belong in our country.

How do you put so much sadness into words. The loss is beyond comprehension.Memories are wonderful things but oh just to touch that person,we just want them back, and for yesterday that was only a short time ago, when we were planning tomorrow together.Where did it all go.To find tomorrow is going to be so hard as one has to face today.God bless all those who are looking for answers and give them the strength to find tomorrow and to take the one's they lost with them through every day...they are there. And to that Australian spirit look for it in all who have come to the task...they are your strength too.
