Dear Sue Levett and Family, I wanted to take the time to write to you today, to express my sympathy for the loss of your husband Bruce. Like you, my life has been touched by the untimely death of a loved one. My friends and family were a great comfort, but what helped me to cope was reflecting on the Bibles hope of seeing my loved one again, in what the Bible calls the Resurrection Hope". When all our dear friends and family that have passed away, will be brought back to life. Here are just a couple of scriptures in the Bible which describe this hope. Isaiah 25:8 "He (God) will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces".... John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (the voice of Jesus) and come out". I sincerely wish all the best for you and your family at this time. Sincerely, One of Jehovah's Witnesses"

Uncle Bruce, Thank You. Thank you, for being my Dad's older brother. As I read your eulogy (was OS when your official farewell was held), I was amazed at the similarities in charactor, humour, contribution to education, sport, community, even the interest in the formation of rocks; to that of my father who was your little brother (by 16 years). When your father George had died, you must have become like my dad's father figure", as you were 28 and he was still a youth, of 12 years. Reading of some of the momentous times in your life made the influence you had on my dad's charactor, and subsequently contributed to who I am, quite apparent. I only know the fruit and legacy of my dad's life in the children he nurtured and shaped with strong foundations. I can now see the same fruit of strength, charactor and potential have been imparted to Sue, Jennifer & Michael. It is time for me to say farewell and thank you. I thank you, Lord God, for your mercy & grace on Uncle Bruce's eternal spirit."
