Having known Bruce for only a very short period of time I can say that it was an honour to be able to be with him throughout some of the difficulties he faced. He certainly had many plans for an ongoing future for he was not one to shy away from adversity. From my understanding there were many times when he was knocked down only to bounce back again with a renewed spirit and additional energy. He had an appreciation of his past, proudly showing me many of his father's paintings and ably providing a detailed commentary regarding the subject material. My mum Linda always told us funny stories about Bruce and when I met him he made me laugh with his cheeky grin and sense of humour. I will always be glad the Bruce and Linda reconciled before her passing. My sincere condolences to Bianca, Nique and Hal. Vale Bruce. xxx Richard, Melissa and Emile

It didn't matter whether you'd last seen Bruce last week, or 5 years ago, his welcome was always the same - "Hello love. How've you been?" Any conversation ended in a laugh. He had some terrific tales to tell, and while there are many, I will never, ever call Liquid Nails anything but "Pop Glue". Bruce basically built a house out of the stuff - nice house too!
