Dear Sue, Gemma and Lauren, I only found out last night that Bernie had passed away recently. i'm speechless. i always remember the great times we had living together, working together, talking, arguing,drinking all of Bernie's wine for him, skiing and generally having a great time. Sue.. you and Bernie always treated me like a younger brother and I have never forgotten the generosity you both showed me. Bernie was a character and a half and a lovely bloke and I just feel so deeply sad about this. so young and such a good guy, best mate of Sue and lovely dad to his girls. Sue, Gemma & Lauren, ...An absolute shock to hear of Bernie's passing. Just a month or two ago I saw him at the hospital whilst I was visiting Mum. We are all devastated....He was just the loveliest man. May he rest in peace and always be watching over his beautiful girls for the rest of eternity... Dad and I are still in shock. I will always remember the wonderful times we spent with Bernie and I know Dad has many many great stories about his very dear friend.
