This message go's to you and your family, i could'nt belive it when i see on the new's that another teen had been murderd, my heart just ached for your family as i know how they are feeling as my little sister Sally Anne Bowman was stabbed to death on 25th Sep 2005.So at this very sad time myself and my family are sending our love to you all.

I feel, Ben , that although you died tragicaly through Knife crime, your death will bring some good. At the momemt, this won't be any consolation to your parents and siblings. I didn't know you, but 'if the shoe were on the other foot' I reckon you'd be organising marches and concerts if it happened to one of your family or friends. Watch over them all and sleep tight. I live in Dublin and though we have crime, as of yet we haven't seen knife crime ( as such)like England and I hope we never do. You were cut down when you should've been making plans for a wonderful future.xxxx

I never knew Ben but was deeply saddened when i heard about his shocking death, to be stabbed is bad enough, but to be stabbed 11 times is just pure evil and wicked. Hope you rest in peace Ben and keep smiling over your family and friends. It would have been an honour to have known you.

I lived in UK for two months while on a course at Cranefield Air University. I always felt safe enough to take long walks at any time of the day or night. This gruesome news really shattered me. I feel so sad that a young nice spirit should be extinguished for no reason and without a thought. Life is precious;family is precious and community is paramount. I strongly condemn this cowardly and shameless act. May God rest this soul in peace and family be blessed and safe.

I wake up thinking about what has happened everyday. You were taken on my birthday and it will always be a day i will never forget. I didn't know you personnally, but my boys Jamie and Charlie knew you, as Charlie said, Ben was one of the boys in Islington, who all knew each other, even if it was to say 'hi'. We are going to take a teddy to you today at the tragic scene. I haven't been able to bring myself to go yet as it is beyond belief, and a tragic, tragic waste of a young life. Like most mum's we are scared everytime our children leave the house, we can't carry on like this. For Ben, we must see his wishes carried out,. For the Kinsella family, our thoughts are with you everyday, and Brooke, you are a young woman to be admired, your grief will be helped by your amazing strength.......rest in peace Ben, the Tomillero family xxx.

Again like so many I never knew Ben, but I am devastated that yet again another child has been so cruelly taken. This young boy had a life to live and it was taken away just like that. Ben was 8 years older than my son and as a parent I can't imagine what Ben's family are going through. I do hope out of this great sadness that something will NOW be done to stop this madness. We need tougher laws, monies spent on the so called Olympics etc should have been spent on fighting all crime. Just maybe this madness could have been stopped and let our young live a fufilling and happy life to which they were born into without the fear of what most of them face now. My thoughts and prayers are with the Kinsella Family, and Friends at this very sad time. God Bless Ben. Sandy X

It's such a terrible thing to happen to anyone, and we all hope that Ben rests in peace, but let's remember all his lovely family who have to live with this for the rest of their lives, We hope they find the strength to face up to the coming years, by re-living some of their happiest times with Ben, of which I'm sure there are many. God Bless you all in the Kinsella family Rex and Beryl x

I did not know you,but I feel so angry&saddened that this has happened.I cannot stop thinking of you. I wake up in the early hours with you on my mind, and your family. The country is being robbed of the best teenagers by savage idiots that are similar in age but oceans apart in values of respect for other's lives.Your sister's campaign is spot on & I fully support her. We need to say together as a nation NO MORE.IF anyone carries a knife they are a potential killer&need to put away in jail.My own son is your age& the streets need to be given back to the young people without fear of death or injury to them, it is their right to be safe.Theresa, chesterfield. xxx

Each families loss I see in the news and papers is more and more scary. I think Brooke was so right about her comment to fetch back national service for those who need structure, I would be happy for my sons to go to fight for our country rather than fight each other in the street, over nothing for most part. These kids need to see consequences for this type of behavour. If anyone carrying a knife, shock tactics might help them see where it may take them. More needs to be done by parents, government, judges, the police do need more back-up. One scared mum XXX

how many more youngsters in this country are we going to lose to mindless and needless killings until the so called people we put in power to take care of this country act in a swift and appropriate manner, if god forbid a member of the royal children was murdered the law would be changed sooner rathe than later so come on lets get a grip and protect our youngsters and their futures. I didnt actually know Ben but when I lost someone last year I found this verse to be of great comfort to me: The gates of heaven opened wide The angels lined up side by side A special guest was on their way The day thye took this angel away. God bless to the family of this young man. When will this madness stop. Zero tolerance on carrying knifes and knife crime needs to happen now. RIP Ben Rosie, Kent UK

I did not know Ben but I know what his family are going through. I lost my 15 year old nephew last January and I know how hard it is to cope. Something has to be done. Parents need to take responsibility and if they can't control their children they need to seek help from someone who can. Knives and guns need to be banned and shops need to be brought to task if found selling them. Courts and jails need to be tougher as it seems to me that it is a life of luxury. Government need to get off their backside and stop talking and start acting. Sympathy to all who were connected with Ben
