Dear Yvonne, I wanted to take the time to write to you today, to express my sympathy for the loss of your husand Walter. Like you, my life has been touched by the untimely death of a loved one. My friends and family were a great comfort, but what helped me to cope was reflecting on the Bible's hope of seeing my loved one again, in what the Bible calls the Resurrection Hope". When all our dear friends and family that have passed away, will be brought back to life. Here are just a couple of scriptures in the Bible which describe this hope. Isaiah 25:8 "He (God) will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe tears from all faces".... John 5:28 " Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice ( the voice of Jesus) aand come out". I sincerely wish all the best for you and your family at this time. Sincerely, One of Jehovah's Witnesses"
To Walter Newmarch's family, I want to say that Arch Deacon Newmarch was a gracious & encouraging man. My memories of him go back to the 1980's, I was @ Holy Trinity Anglican Liverpool South. I was in Parish Council & we were looking for a new Minister since Len Ford (Rector) was moving on... Walter came to spend time with us & to encourage & guide us to the new chapter for our parish... I've had some great chats with Walter @ various times, my growth in Christ Jesus was helped by Walter & his faithfulness... I was only just being told of his passing from here to be with Jesus... To his family I want say thank you for letting your husband & father to go out & do God's will, I've gained so much that it's helped me in Lay Ministry like Kairos (Prison Ministry)... Walter was my brother in Jesus & I will remember him with special memories. We send you our Love & prayers in the days to come... Greg,Jenny,Lilly & Esther Setchell
Grandpa was an amazing man. I am greatly relieved to know that he is now safe with God because of his faith in Jesus
