Dori was a light in the Women's Circus community. Many of us were abe to be there to send her off, and many others were there in spirit. All strength to all those who are left and bereft.

Thoughts of condolences to Sheah and Dorí's family.She was a very special woman.Full of life,and fire,creative ,compassionate and challenging. Although Dori was not in our lives for years now ,she was a significant part of our pass.She will remain in our hearts and forever in our memories. much loved, Lyn and Jake Easton.

Ultimately Dori became a very significant mentor for me within the theatre world...but before that, even before I met her in person, I met her crosswords in the beautiful Lesbian Network Newsletter from her Castlemaine days. (Years later I would find myself sitting beside her on a bus bench in Bondi learning the finer points of the cryptic). When we finally met I was totally enchanted - a feeling that has never left me. She took out her guitar and played for me the Smiths "There is a Light and it Never Goes out..." How strange that I didn't notice the sycnchronicity between that and the work and play that I (and so many of us) would engage in with Dori in the years to come. It has been some years since I have hung out or worked with this magic one and her passing strikes me right to the core. I can only imagine and care very much about how it is feeling to all of you who were closer, sharing everydayness. My heart goes out to you. There is so much to be said, to be felt about the beauty, the magic, the strength, the artistry, the heart, the cheek and so much more that Dori brought to life through theatre and simple everyday being.
