So sorry to just be hearing about Colin's passing. A big heart with just about the same biggest smile is how I'll remember Colin

to his parents and fiancee, I attended a service on nov 7, at Dominion-Chalmers United Church, Ottawa, held in memory of those who had died serving in the Canadian Forces. Towards the end of the service they dropped large poppies from an upper balcony and on each poppy was the name of a soldier who had died in Afghanistan. My poppy had on it'Colin Wilmot'. I thought you might like to know he was being remembered at this time. If you would like me to mail you the poppy and a brochure of the service I would be happy to do so. Remember that family, friends and others are thinking of Colin on this day. Marion Sewell-Sneyd Ottawa Canada

My memory of Colin Wilmot of the Canadian Forces from Edmonton, Alta will always be his reputation heard through the media. Always a grin, eager to fight to go to Afghanistan with his fellow Canadian soldiers. Died doing what he loved and in my mind had no regrets. Once a soldier always a soldier. I wish I could have met him. James
